Can I convert my front struts to run a coil over setup? They are tokico struts that come in the Ford Racing performance handling kit. I'm not sure if I can but if it is possible does anyone reccomend a coilover conversion kit that I could use.

Other than being able to say "I have coil overs" why do you think you want to?
It can be done, call Maximum Motorsports.
Coil overs take some tuning and getting used to. They are great for different track conditions but you need to have spuspension know how to make them work right. They are not "plug and play"!

It's a ride height control type of deal. Plus I like the flexibility of preformance.

I know guys with them on street cars that wish they didn't ,and those that love to tinker all the time. It can be done. Good luck to you.

Yes you can convert to coil overs. Maximum Motorsports has a kit for the Tokicos - it lists for $369.00 with springs - check out http://www.maximummotorsports.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=507 .
Having said that, those struts are not very good with coil overs, especially if you want to run a stiff spring suitable for use on a road course (in the 350-425lbs range). They should work OK with spring rates in the 250 to 325 lb range - which is fine for the street.
On the other hand, the MM coil over kit for the Tokicos also fits Koni struts, so you do have an upgrade path to Koni adjustables with this coil over kit should you want to play with spring rates or go open tracking further down the track?
Note that you will need quality spherical bearing style CC plates like Maximum Motorsports ones to convert to coil overs, and avoid cheap coil over kits that are attractive pricewise, but less than satisfactory in use - some are dangerous even! Ask Steve Dean about crappy coil over kits! The turkey who screwed up the original turbo conversion on his 03 cobra installed some nasty coil over kit that was so close to a catastrophic failure after relatively few miles it was scary!
A well setup quality coil over system on the front end of a Mustang is far better than stock style springs, but be carefull if you plan to use them to lower the car more than your Ford Racing kit, because that will throw the geometry out the window and you'll need more parts to compensate for it - like bump steer kits, and X2 Balljoints or tubular control arms?
