I was wondering if it was a "special edition".

I knew you had a synaptic misfire. (for you rednecks that translates to brain fart)

Sounds like bowties car, but it wasn't - there's no way he would be at an El Fenix anyway that's for sure! :ponder:

It sounds like a use to be coworker mustang. He lives in Mckinney. He has a '99 v6 clone with a cobra R front , chrome cobra R rims, and side exit exhaust . ( in front of the rear wheels). He joined the club at TMC event in 2005. He still has the v6 hood (the last time I saw the car).
This could be his car. (his last name is Simpson I don't know his first name)

I looked in it, and it didn't seem to be his, it was missing the rollcage, and had a trunk-mounted spoiler (the stock one, not the Cobra R one).

Yep, sounds like what I saw. THo, I thought the hood with the "heat extractor" vent (fairly thin, facing back towards the windshield) was the Cobra hood.
